    Turning Pointe Dance Studio is proud to be celebrating 26 years of dance education and service in the Crowsnest Pass and Pincher Creek area. As a well-established studio and recipient of Small Business of the Year, we are honoured to continue providing quality dance training, positive experiences, and meaningful opportunities for dancers of all ages.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Our facility includes three dance studios and offers a wide variety of classes for students from 18 months through to adults. Dance styles include ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, pointe, acro, contemporary, acting, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

    At Turning Pointe, our instructors are dedicated to ongoing professional development and continued education. This allows us to offer current, engaging, and high-quality programming while supporting each dancer\u2019s growth, confidence, and love of dance.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We are proud to offer a variety of recognized and specialized programs, including:<\/span><\/h3>\n

    NEW READY SET DANCE Curriculum for our preschool and young recreational dancers<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Acrobatic Arts Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Exams<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Progressing Ballet Technique<\/strong><\/p>\n

    These programs help provide strong technical foundations, age-appropriate learning, creativity, confidence, and fun for dancers at every stage of their training.<\/span><\/p>\n

    To meet the needs of different dancers and families, Turning Pointe offers three distinct program options:<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Sessional Programs \u2013 8\u201312 week classes with optional performance opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Full-Year Programs \u2013 September to May programming with optional performance opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Competitive Programs \u2013 Advanced training for dedicated dancers, including mandatory ballet classes twice per week and participation in 1\u20132 competitions each season<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our competitive dancers take part in various competitions and festivals throughout Southern Alberta each year. In addition to regular classes, Turning Pointe also offers students exciting extracurricular opportunities, including Disney Dance the Magic, Triple Threat Workshops in Calgary, Los Angeles Dance Workshops, and workshops with industry professionals such as Tara-Jean Popowich, winner of So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

    In July 2015, Turning Pointe dancers had the incredible opportunity to travel to New York City, where they participated in dance classes and performed a flash mob-style dance in Times Square.<\/span><\/p>\n
