AD PROGRAM NOTE 2024

Miss Cara Bennett
Cara was born and raised in Eureka, Montana, USA . She began dancing with the Creative Arts Dance Studio in Eureka at the age of five and has been dancing ever since. She has studied various forms of dance such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Hip Hop.
Cara continued on to Montana State University where she majored in Graphic Design and pursued her dance education. She immersed herself in as many new classes and styles as she could. This is where she was given the opportunity to choreograph small and large group pieces for her University performance program. After two years, Cara transferred to the University of Colorado to continue her education, absorbing as much of the hip hop and street dance culture there as she could.
In 2013 Cara moved back to Eureka and began apprenticing under the Artistic Director of the Creative Arts Dance Studio in preparation to step into the role as Director in 2015. Cara lead the studio for the next 2 years teaching Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Creative Movement and Musical Theatre to students of all ages.
Cara left that position to move to the Crowsnest Pass. While she did step down as Director of the Creative Arts Dance Studio, Cara has remained with the studio as an instructor to the competitive teams and the adult performers. She has also held an instructor’s position at a start up studio in Fernie from 2017 to 2021 and has developed her own adult dance fitness class that she teaches locally. Cara is honored to be a part of the Turning Pointe Dance Studio team and is so grateful for another opportunity to dance!
We have an exciting partnership to share with you all! =)
